House of Anagha is a lifestyle brand born from the confluence of our founder, Chitra Guru, and her passion for arts, design, and ethical and sustainable practices in all facets of life.
She and the brand stand for the notion that the future of all species depends on protecting the health of our one and only home: Earth. Every being we share the planet with—animals and people alike—has the right to an equitable life, free from the adverse effects of common production practices in the textile industry today. Given the collective choices we make as consumers and producers and their direct impacts on our environment, HoA is committed to protecting and preserving our natural world through our slow fashion practices.
Chitra is of Indian origin, with deep roots in South India and Pennsylvania, USA; the influence of both the East and West is prominent in Anagha’s collections. She has turned her hand painted designs into carefully crafted clothing and home textiles with the partnership of Jaipur-based artisans who seek to uphold the same pillars as we do.
